JoePa’s induction ceremony had to be delayed for a year due to an on field injury suffered during the Wisconsin football game but it finally came to pass on Saturday night. Joe joins three other active coaches in the Hall.
Joe’s achievements are too numerous to list but a short version would have to include two national titles in ’82 and ’86, five undefeated seasons and the American Football Coaches coach of the year a record five times.

Connor’s win means a Penn State linebacker has won the award for three consecutive years. Paul Pozluszny have taken home the hardware in 2005 and 2006. Lavar Arrington was a previous winner in 1999.
